Japanese Surrender

 The United States didn't have to drop both Atomic bombs to have Japanese surrender. Japan's Army, Navy, and Air Force were beaten to a point where they were just useless to send out and fight, they were focused on using their raw resources to just hang on and stay alive. The U.S. should have just let Japan bleed out and kept bombing military targets to speed up their surrender. It would have saved thousand of civilian lives and years of suffering because of radiation poisoning, not being able to use the land, and many birth defects. Many Japanese people wanted to surrender! Admiral Yamamoto even knew it was impossible to defeat the Allies and that defeat was inevitable.
